I'm Ben D'Angelo. I grew up in my dad's auto shop in Ontario.
He spent 40 years building that business on hard work and trust. As the shop grew, its tools didn't keep up. I watched him and the team fight stacks of printed invoices, work orders lost between desks, and confusing software that felt like it was designed by someone who had never worked on a car. It was frustrating for everyone, and honestly, it was holding them back.
I spent 15 years as a full-stack developer with big tech teams in Toronto. Eventually it was obvious that the most important problem I could solve was the one in my dad's shop: a tool that moves as fast as a technician does.
My sister Kristen joined me, bringing years of marketing and growth experience. Together we turned a family project into a product for shops across Canada. We built Wenmar Pro because we needed it, and we figured other Canadian shops did too.
