Wenmar Pro was born out of desperate necessity in the bays of my Dad's auto shop.
Hey there — I’m Ben D'Angelo.
I grew up in my Dad’s auto shop here in Ontario. For 40 years, he’s built a business on hard work and trust. But as the shop grew, the tools didn't. I watched him and his team struggle with a mess of printed out invoices, work orders lost between desks, and software workflow so confusing like it was designed by someone who had never actually held a wrench.
It was frustrating for everyone, and honestly, it was holding them back.
I've spent 15 years as a full-stack developer working with some of the biggest tech teams in Toronto, but I realized the most important problem I could solve was right in my Dad's shop. And I wanted a tool that worked as fast as a technician does.
So, I teamed up with my sister, Kristen. While I focused on the code, she brought her years of marketing and growth experience to help us turn this from a family project into a product for shops across Canada.
We built Wenmar Pro because we needed it. And we figured if we needed it, other Canadian shops did too.
