Keeping track of parts is how you keep work moving. Inventory in Wenmar Pro is split into two sides: the parts list (what you buy and sell) and the orders that restock it (purchase orders, returns, and sublet work).
What You’ll Learn
Parts Management
Manage your parts list — add parts, track stock at each location, set bin locations and reorder points, and watch usage.
Purchase Orders
Order parts from your vendors, receive them into stock, and track the order from draft to received.
Vendors
Keep your suppliers in one place — contact info, payment terms, account numbers, and how each vendor orders.
Sublet & Return Orders
Send work out to other shops, and send parts back to your suppliers when they’re wrong, damaged, or cores.

How Parts Fit Into Work Orders
When a technician needs a part, they add it to a service on a work order — from inventory if you stock it, or as a one-off part if you don’t. See Adding Parts and Labor for how parts get onto estimates and work orders.
Quick Actions
- Find a part - Use the search bar on the Inventory page (part number, description, or brand)
- Scan a barcode - Enter a barcode to jump straight to that part
- Check stock - Look at the on-hand column on the Inventory page, or open a part’s detail page
- Order more - Create a purchase order from the Orders tab (or the Purchase Orders page)
- Adjust stock - Open a part and use Adjust Stock to fix counts after a cycle count or damage
Best Practices
- Set reorder points - Tell Wenmar Pro the minimum you want on hand so low stock is easy to spot
- Use bin locations - A bin location (“A3-R2”) tells your team exactly where to look
- Keep vendors updated - Accurate account numbers and order URLs make reordering fast
- Record a reason on stock changes - Every adjustment with a reason is easier to trust later
