Keeping your inventory accurate is how you avoid “we’re out of that” surprises. Wenmar Pro tracks stock per location, lets you adjust counts, and helps you spot low stock before it bites.
💡 You’ll need
- Owner or manager access to adjust stock
Adding a Part
On the Inventory page, click Add Part. Enter the Part Number (required), Part Type (part, tire, battery, fluid, or supply), Description, Brand, and Vendor. Set the Cost and Retail price, and turn on Stocked to track quantities at your location. Click Save Part.
You can also use the Autofill button to have Wenmar Pro look up part details from the part number.
Adjusting Stock (Cycle Count)
When you count your shelves, fix the numbers:
- Open the part and click Adjust Stock.
- Set the New On-Hand Count.
- Add a Reason (like “Cycle count” or “Received shipment”).
- Click Update Stock.
Every change is recorded in the part’s Recent Movements history, so you can see what changed and why.
Setting Reorder Points and Bin Locations
In the Adjust Stock drawer (or the part’s edit page), set:
- Reorder Point (Min) — The lowest on-hand count you want before Wenmar Pro flags it as low.
- Max Stock Level — The most you want on hand.
- BIN Location — Where the part lives (like “A3-R2”), so your team knows where to look.
Wenmar Pro color-codes stock status: In Stock, Low Stock (at or below reorder point), Out of Stock, and Above Max Stock.
Checking Stock Levels
The Inventory list shows live stock counts with color-coded status. Open a part to see On Hand, Available, Ordered, its Bin, and Usage history (last used, used in 30 days, and monthly average).
Tips
- Set reorder points — Low stock is easy to spot when you have a minimum set.
- Use bin locations — A bin location tells your team exactly where to look.
- Record a reason on every adjustment — A reason makes the history trustworthy.
- Watch the Parts Usage report — It flags low-stock parts and “phantom pulls” (parts marked from inventory with no stock movement), which means your counts may be off.
