Working with customers is where Wenmar Pro earns its keep. From the moment a customer books or walks in, you can keep them in the loop — send estimates they can approve from their phone, message them by text or email, and hand them a portal that shows their work order without them ever installing an app.

How Customers Fit Into Work Orders
Every work order is tied to a customer and a vehicle. When you create a work order, you pick the customer (or add a new one), and Wenmar Pro pulls in their vehicle and service history. See Creating Work Orders for how customers get onto work orders.
Quick Actions
- Find a customer - Use the search bar on the Customers page (name, phone, email, or vehicle)
- Add a customer - Create a new customer record, or add one on the fly while creating a work order
- Message a customer - Open any customer and start a text or email thread from the messaging inbox
- Send an estimate - Build and send an estimate from a work order for online approval
- Share the portal - Send a customer the check-in QR or share link so they can follow their work order
Best Practices
- Keep customer info current - Accurate phone numbers and emails make messaging and reminders work
- Tag customers - Use tags to group customers (fleet, VIP, new) so you can filter and message them later
- Send estimates early - The sooner a customer approves, the sooner the work is scheduled
- Use the portal - Customers who can see their work order progress ask fewer “is it done yet?” questions
