Account Security and 2-Step Verification

Keep your Wenmar Pro account safe with 2-step verification, strong passwords, and knowing how your data is protected.

Contents

Wenmar Pro protects your shop’s data with bank-grade encryption and gives you tools to keep your own account secure. This guide covers 2-step verification, password rules, and how your data is protected.

💡 You’ll need

  • A confirmed email address on your account to use 2-step verification

2-Step Verification (Email Code)

2-step verification adds a second check when you sign in. After you enter your password, Wenmar Pro emails you a 6-digit code that you enter to finish logging in. The code expires in 10 minutes.

Who needs it: Owners, managers, and admins are required to use 2-step verification. Technicians and advisors can turn it on for themselves.

Turning It On

  • For yourself — Ask an owner or manager to enable it, or check your account settings if you have access.
  • For a team member — In Settings → Team Members, open the member and find the Security (MFA) section. Turn on Email verification at login.

Signing In With a Code

  1. Enter your email and password.
  2. Wenmar Pro sends a 6-digit code to your email.
  3. Enter the code on the Enter your verification code screen and click Verify.

If the code doesn’t arrive, click Resend code. Codes expire after 10 minutes and allow 3 attempts.

Passwords

  • Passwords must be at least 10 characters.
  • If you forget your password, use the Forgot your password? link on the sign-in screen. Wenmar Pro emails you a reset link that expires in 15 minutes.
  • Resetting your password signs you out of all other devices.

How Your Data Is Protected

  • Encryption — Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, the same standard banks use.
  • Backups — Your data is backed up automatically and stored in secure data centers.
  • We don’t sell your data — Ever. See the privacy policy for details.

Tips

  • Use a confirmed email — You need a working email to use 2-step verification and to reset your password.
  • Keep your PIN private — Your PIN is for you. Don’t share it with teammates.
  • Report lost QR cards — If a QR card is lost, have a manager generate a new one to invalidate the old one.
