Messaging Customers with AI-Suggested Replies

Reply to customers by text or email, use AI to draft a reply in their language, and share estimate, inspection, and payment links.

Contents

Wenmar Pro’s messaging inbox keeps every customer conversation in one place — text, email, and in-app. You can reply quickly, let AI draft a message in the customer’s language, and share links to estimates, inspections, and payments.

💡 You’ll need

  • A customer with a phone number or email on file
  • Texting set up (see Settings → Phone Numbers)

The Messaging Inbox

Open Messages to see your conversations. The list is split into Waiting for Reply (conversations that need you) and Replied. Search by name, phone, vehicle, or message text.

Sending a Message

  1. Click New Message and pick the customer.
  2. Choose how to reach them — phone, email, or in-app — from the contact method dropdown.
  3. Type your message and click Send.

You can attach up to 5 files (JPG, PNG, GIF, or PDF) to a message.

Using AI to Draft a Reply

When you’re replying, click the sparkle button in the compose box. Wenmar Pro drafts a suggested reply for you. It matches the language the customer is using — so if they text in French, the suggestion is in French. You can edit it before sending, or click Clear to start over.

Use the Share button in the compose box to send a customer a link to:

  • View estimate — The estimate for online approval
  • Review your inspection — Their inspection results
  • View work order — The invoice
  • Pay now — A payment link (when the work is done and there’s a balance)

The link appears as a button in the message. The customer taps it and opens it in their phone’s browser — no app needed.

Tips

  • Let AI match the language — The suggested reply drafts in the customer’s language, which is great for bilingual shops.
  • Share links instead of typing details — A payment or estimate link is faster and less error-prone than typing numbers.
  • Check the contact method — If a customer has opted out of texts, the dropdown tells you and offers email or in-app instead.
