Settings Overview

A tour of the Settings page — business profile, pricing, workflow, and integrations — so you know where everything lives.

Contents

The Settings page is where you set up how your shop works in Wenmar Pro. It’s organized into groups so you can find what you need quickly. This guide is a tour — click into each section for the details.

💡 You’ll need

  • Owner or manager access to most settings

Shop

  • Business Profile — Your shop’s name, logo, address, province, GST/HST number, contact info, and hours.
  • Shop Operations — Currency, time zone, default parts vendor, daily revenue target, and work order numbering.
  • Docs & Portal — Documents and your customer portal.
  • App Access — Station login code, QR codes, and how your team gets into the app.

Workflow

  • WO Sub-Statuses — The sub-statuses work orders move through.
  • WO Labels — Labels you can tag work orders with.
  • Labor Templates — Auto-created from work order line items, so labor suggestions pre-fill hours.
  • Close Requirements — What must be done before a work order can close.
  • Service Categories — Group your services (brakes, oil, tires) with icons and colors.
  • Courtesy Cars and Dealer Plates — Loaner vehicles and dealer plates.
  • Reminders — Automatic appointment and follow-up reminders.

Pricing

  • Parts Markup — How much you mark up parts, by cost tier.
  • Labor Markup Matrix — Multipliers for labor hours or rates.
  • Labor Rates — Your hourly rates (diagnostic, specialty, sublet).
  • Shop Fees — Fees like shop supplies or tire disposal, auto-added to work orders.
  • Shop Discounts — Pre-built discounts (fleet, loyalty, coupons).
  • Core Tax Rules — Whether core charges and credits are taxed, per province.

Communication

  • Phone Numbers — The phone numbers Wenmar Pro texts and calls from.

Online Presence

  • Modular Website, Domains & Email, Online Booking — Your customer-facing web presence and self-service booking.

AI

  • Trust Levels and Learning Preferences — How much Wenmar Pro’s AI does automatically.

Integrations

  • DriveOn — Ontario safety inspection PDF parsing.
  • QuickBooks — Sync invoices and payments to QuickBooks Online.
  • Payments — Payment processing (coming soon).

Admin

  • Locations — Manage your shop locations.
  • Account — Account settings, including transfer ownership and delete account.
  • Billing — Your subscription and billing.

Tips

  • Most pricing settings are per-location — Labor rates, shop fees, discounts, and parts markup apply to one location. If you have multiple shops, set each one up.
  • Service categories and labor matrices are per-account — They’re shared across your whole account.
  • Set your province first — Tax rates follow from it.
