Reading the Performance Report

See how your shop is doing at a glance — gross revenue, labor rate, close ratio, and daily trends — and compare advisors or technicians side by side.

Contents

The Performance report is the report you land on in Reports. It’s your shop’s health check: how much revenue you’re pulling in, how efficiently you’re selling labor, and which advisors and technicians are driving the numbers.

💡 You’ll need

  • Owner or manager access to reports

Opening the Report

Go to Reports. The Performance report is the default view. Use the Range filter to pick This week, This month (the default), Last month, This quarter, or Custom — choosing Custom opens start and end date fields.

Reading the KPI Cards

The cards across the top summarize the period:

  • Total Gross Revenue — everything your shop brought in
  • Average Daily Revenue — gross revenue divided by active sales days
  • Effective Labor Rate — labor revenue per billed hour, shown per hour
  • Close Ratio — percentage of estimate totals that customers approved

Below the chart, Daily Breakdown lists each day’s Car Count, Hours Sold, Gross Revenue, and Parts/Labor Share. The Car Count and Average Work Order (ARO) tables, plus Customer Retention (New vs Returning) and Top services by revenue, round out the Shop view.

Comparing Your Team

Use the View filter to switch between Shop, Advisor, and Technician. The Advisor Leaderboard ranks advisors by ARO, Close Ratio, and Total Revenue; the Technician Leaderboard ranks technicians by Hours Clocked, Hours Billed, and Efficiency %.

Setting a Daily Revenue Target

In Settings → Shop Operations, set a Daily Revenue Target. On the Performance report, a Target Progress column appears in Daily Breakdown, showing each day’s progress against your goal.

Exporting

Click Export in the header to download the current results as a CSV spreadsheet file, ready for bookkeeping.
