A campaign is one text message sent to a group of customers at the same time — a seasonal special, a service reminder, a shop-wide announcement. Every customer who gets it chose to receive marketing texts, so you’re not reaching people who opted out.
💡 You’ll need
- SMS texting set up for your shop (see Settings → Phone Numbers)
- A manager or owner account — only they can create, send, and duplicate campaigns
Starting a Campaign
- Go to SMS Campaigns and click New Campaign.
- Enter a Campaign Name — for example “Spring Oil Change Special”.
Choosing Who Gets It
The Recipient Filters narrow the list by:
- Last visit older than (days) — customers whose last completed work order is older than that
- Vehicle Make — for example “Honda”
- Year Min / Year Max — vehicle year
- Customer Tags — tick one or more tags
Only customers with SMS opt-in are included.
Composing the Message
Type your Message (up to 480 characters). You can use placeholders that fill in per customer: [first_name], [full_name], and [shop_name].
💡 Pro Tip
Keep messages short — around 160 characters so they arrive as a single text. “Reply STOP to unsubscribe” is appended automatically, so customers can opt out with one text.
Sending
Click Create Campaign to save it as a draft. From the campaign page, open the ⋮ menu and click Send Now. The page shows Recipients, Sent, and Failed counts so you can track delivery.
Duplicating a Past Campaign
Open a past campaign, go to the ⋮ menu, and click Duplicate. A copy opens as a new draft named “Copy of [campaign name]” that you can edit and send again.
