Notifications and Reminders

Find the bell in the top bar to open your notification center, mark messages read, set your personal notification preferences, and turn on push reminders.

Contents

Wenmar Pro keeps you in the loop with a notification center in the app and, if you turn them on, push reminders on your browser or phone.

💡 You’ll need

  • A signed-in shop account (any role)

Opening Notifications

Look for the bell icon in the top bar. It shows a red badge with the number of unread notifications. Tap it to open the Notifications panel, which lists each notification with a title, message, and time.

What Generates a Notification

Things like a customer message, a new online booking, work a customer authorized or declined, a team mention, being assigned to a work order, a technician update, an inspection completed, a stale purchase order, or a QuickBooks sync failure.

Reading and Marking Read

  • Read one — tap a notification. It opens the work order or conversation and marks it read.
  • Mark all read — tap Mark all read at the top to clear everything at once.
  • Unread notifications are bold with a red dot; read ones drop the dot.

Set Which Notifications You Get

From the avatar menu, choose Preferences. Under Notification Settings, set each alert (like Team Mentions or Customer Message Received) to In-App or Email, each None, My Work, or All Work. There’s also Send me an email when I miss an in-app mention or comment notification (after 30 minutes).

Turn On Push Reminders

On the web, Wenmar asks your browser for permission when you first sign in — Allow to get push reminders. On the mobile app, tap Allow on the banner Get notified about work order updates and mentions. To stop them, change the notification permission for Wenmar Pro in your browser’s or phone’s settings.
