Reading the Declined Work Report

See the estimates and services customers said no to, how much they were worth, and which ones to follow up on so you can win back lost work.

Contents

The Declined Work report lists every service a customer turned down — declined services and parked (saved-for-later) estimates — so you can spot patterns and follow up on work you might have lost.

💡 You’ll need

  • Owner or manager access to reports

Opening the Report

Go to Reports → Recovery → Declined Work. The report starts on the current month.

Choosing a Date Range

Use the Range filter to pick This week, This month (default), Last month, This quarter, or Custom. Choosing Custom opens start and end date fields. You can also narrow the results by Category or Writer (the advisor).

Reading the Cards

Four cards across the top summarize the period: Declined Services (how many were turned down), Total Declined Value, Saved for Later (parked estimates), and Saved Value.

The Aging Buckets card groups declines by age, and Decline Patterns by Category shows Count, Total Value, and Avg Value per category — the fastest way to see what customers push back on.

The Declined Services Table

Each row shows the Service, Category, Est. Value, Customer, Vehicle, Advisor, and Age. A service marked (dismissed) is no longer followed up. The Saved for Later table lists parked estimates with a clickable RO# to open the work order.

Exporting

Click Export in the header to download the current results as a CSV spreadsheet file, including saved-for-later estimates.

Tips

  • Follow up on declined services — use the Customer name and Age to call back old declines before they forget the quote.
  • Watch the aging buckets — a decline sitting for 30+ days is worth a re-quote.
