If your shop uses other software — a bookkeeping program, a parts system, or your own tooling — Wenmar Pro can share data with it. You don’t need to write code yourself. Just hand this page (and the Developers & API page) to your developer, or use the wenmar command-line tool for quick tasks.
💡 You’ll need
- An owner account
- An API token (see Using API Tokens)
The JSON API
Every shop screen in Wenmar Pro is also an API endpoint — same URLs, add .json. Your developer connects to it with a token in the Settings → Account → API Tokens screen. Responses are plain JSON, and lists come back with a standard Link header you follow for the next page.
The full list of every endpoint, with examples, lives in the Scalar API Reference.
SDKs
An SDK is a ready-made kit of code so your developer doesn’t have to build the API connections from scratch.
- Go —
go get github.com/wenmar-pro/wenmar-sdk/go - Ruby —
gem install wenmar
Both handle the token, retrying when the server is busy, and pulling the next page of results for you.
The wenmar Command-Line Tool
For quick tasks from a terminal — or for AI agents doing the work — there’s a single wenmar command:
- macOS / Linux:
brew install --cask wenmar-pro/tap/wenmar - Windows:
scoop bucket add wenmar https://github.com/wenmar-pro/scoop-bucket && scoop install wenmar
You can list customers, create work orders, pull reports, and more. It prints a readable table by default, or machine-ready JSON with --json, --agent, or --jq. See the wenmar-cli repo for install options and examples.
Where to Point Your Developer
Send them to the Developers & API page — it links the full API reference, both SDKs, and the command-line tool.
